Expertise

George has appeared in each of the Supreme Court, Federal Court, District Court, and Magistrates Court of Western Australia. His experience spans matters relating to fraud, insider trading, breach of directors’ duties, corporate insolvency, bankruptcy, restraining orders and large-scale commercial litigation. He also advises clients on strategic litigation planning, risk management and commercial settlement pathways. Before commencing legal practice, George worked in business development and corporate banking, gaining significant experience in financial analysis, credit structuring, and client relationship management. This commercial foundation enables him to deliver pragmatic and outcome-focused advice to clients.

Outside of the office, George maintains his passion for sport, having retired from a highly successful semi-professional football career. Over his decade long playing career, he achieved several milestones, including a WAFL premiership, five state representations, and becoming the first player in AFL or state-level history to win Fairest and Best medals at three clubs. He also contributes to the community through his involvement in The Raine Study, Australia’s longest running public research project into childhood health.

With a strong foundation in finance, leadership, and high-performance environments, George plans to continue building a reputation as a commercially astute and strategic litigation practitioner within the Western Australian legal landscape.
